Introduction
March saw the publication of the Listening Research Report that was released by Swim England as part of the Heart of Aquatics safeguarding, welfare and culture plan. The Listening Research Report was commissioned by Swim England as part of their funding conditions from Sport England. The research was carried out by ‘The Behavioural Architects’ – interviewing more than 1,000 individuals from across the sport, holding open listening spaces, conducting one to one interviews and using an online survey which captured more than 3,500 responses. The report provides an honest and open view into the world of aquatics, identifying areas that Swim England have committed to improve.
