Introduction
I recently made a Word Cloud from when we visited schools across the Tees Valley to complete the Emoji Activity as part of the TVAS project. The first question we ask the children is which words would they use to describe PE. I noted all these down and put them into the Word Cloud which shows which are the most common by the size of the word.
I thought it might be a useful read to see an up to date picture of what children think about PE. The majority of the most common words are positive, but I was quite surprised to see that 'tiring' was mentioned a lot as well as 'boring'.
We will use a the feedback from the children during the Emoji Activity to potentially make changes within the schools where possible, such as whether they can come to school in PE kit, rather than having to get changed as a group at school.
