Introduction
The Sport Councils hosted a 'Racism in Sport' conference on the 1st March and one of the workshops focused on 'Breaking barriers: unveiling the individual actions and behaviours of the Active Partnership’s journey to tackling racism'. The workshop was delivered by Jason Fergus, director of Active Essex and Sport England Board Member. Slide 6 of the attached presentation includes a useful summary of the Active Partnerships commitment to racial equality nationally.
