Ben Wilson-Director Digital Marketing Sport England Slides

Introduction

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to speak at the Active Partnerships first face-to-face conference on Marketing and Communications. The event brought together marketing teams from the majority of Active Partnerships, making it a great place for exchanging ideas and experiences.

 

In the afternoon, the Director of Digital Marketing for Sport England Ben Wilson shared his insightful vision on marketing and communications, particularly highlighting Sport England's strategic plans.

 

What caught my attention most was Sport England's ambitious approach to storytelling. They are strongly inclined towards adopting podcasts and short-form video content, recognising the potential these mediums hold in engaging and inspiring audiences.

 

Furthermore, Sport England is eager to explore artificial intelligence in marketing. Ben was keen to become early adopter in harnessing AI for organisational purposes.
